Global Education Office proudly presents the annual University of New Mexico International Festival! Our International Festival is a true celebration of culture and diversity at UNM, occurring annually during the Spring semester and featuring food, crafts and performances from all over the world.

For 2015, local restaurants and student organizations will prepare fabulous-tasting cuisines from countries such as Colombia, China, Germany, Haiti, Hungary, Japan, Madagascar, Mexico, Nepal, Philippines, Turkey, Venezuela, plus native Dine cuisine, food prepared by the Black Student Union and Muslim Student Association, and local restaurant Street Food Asia, plus international food trucks, so come with an appetite and some change in your pocket!

We will also have exciting live performances from Mala Mana, flamenco, traditional Indian dancing, and belly dancing groups, plus more! Our cultural booths will feature information from some of the 90+ countries represented at UNM, as well as arts and crafts from around the world!

Many of our international students come dressed in their traditional clothing and regalia. Student groups display a wide variety of crafts and arts from their home countries. We welcome individuals and groups to participate.

The deadline to sign up to participate was March 27, 2015. Please visit this site again in March 2016 to find out how you can be a part of next year's International Festival!
