Speaker Request

GEO coordinates International student volunteers who are willing to present about their countries and cultures. If you would like to request an international student volunteer to come to your class or other venue, please email geo@unm.edu at least 2 weeks in advance of the presentation with the following information:

• Requestor’s name, email & phone number
• Course name & department (please note if this is an undergraduate/graduate course) OR describe the venue for the presentation
• Date & time of presentation
• General topic/issue of the requested presentation

Please note that we also have staff with expertise on immigration compliance (J-1 & F-1), ESL, cultural integration, international partnerships and more.
