Join over 2,500 fellow students in the SUB for the 11th annual Friday Night Live! The entire building will be full of great events. This year there will a Photo Booth, Casino Games, Henna Tattoos, Karaoke, Student Organizations, Video Games on Projection Screens, Lobo Sports Teams, a Dance, and Free Food!

Join us on Johnson Field and see a movie on a huge movie screen under the stars at this Welcome Back Days tradition. This is the closest you may ever get to a drive-in style movie! Bring a blanket and your friends, this event is open to the public and is FREE!

For our first Lobo Thirstday we will gather for a very important UNM tradition. Red Rally burning a 25’ tall Aggie ((NMSU’s mascot)at the stake to get pumped up for the game vs. New Mexico State University (NMSU). Red Rally was rated #55 in Sports Illustrated’s “102 Things You Have To Do Before You Graduate” article.

The Marigold Parade “Dia de los Muertos” is one of the most unique experiences to have in Albuquerque! We will meet at Bandido Hideout (located on 2128 Central Ave SE, in front of the Communication and Journalism Department) for some traditional bread and drinks and then we will ride the bus over there.

Party at Hokona Hall to welcome the students. We provide dinner, play international music, meet ang reet all of the students and this year we are breaking a piñata.
Red River Ski Trip
Friday, February 2nd to Sundary February 4th
Go on a Gateway Adventure to Red River, New Mexico. Explore the mountain, ski down the slopes, or just hang out by the snow and drink some hot chocolate. Get the chance to watch and support the UNM Ski team in the Red River Competition! The base fee for this trip is $116.00 which includes 2 hotel nights, a lunch, and transportation. Sunday, March 11th to Tuesday, March 13th
This amazing Spring Break Road Trip with REC Services takes you from New Mexico to Moab, Utah!!! On the way you will visit the Canyonlands National Park, the Aztec Ruins National Monument, and Arches National Park (look it up its awesome). This trip is an amazing opportunity to travel and see the scenic landscape of the west! The cost includes lodging, transportation, and 7 meals.

Cook and bring your favorite side dish, snacks, or dessert and meet up with all of the international students on the volleyball courts of Casas Del Rio (North of Johnsons Field)! Apart from getting a taste of different international food, GEO will cater a main dish and organize soccer, volleyball, and Frisbee games!

International students and lobo friends are invited to watch an isotopes game for free. Whether you know anything about the game or not, going to a baseball game is a fun American experience that you can’t miss out on! We have a space reserved for everyone to sit together and enjoy the game!

The final activity will be the farewell party! This is the student’s last get together before finals week, it’s a great way to see your international friends and relax before exams begin!
